All prime evils have these buildings.  The Gate to Hell is by far the most important to heal troops and create Portals.

Nydus Network Building.  This building is central to your survival.  Without your hell gate, your prime evil will start to die and you will no longer receive reinforcements.  The Gate to Hell as well as any of your allies will heal all units instantly with a cooldown of 30 seconds per unit.  This building has a wide detection radius of 10 to stop Zadkiel .  Be careful, Zadkiel can blind this building to kill spine crawlers.

This building has an ungodly(hehe) amount of health regeneration of 200 per second.  Combined with the 150 armor, all attacks but by the toughest of heroes can hurt it. Even the Messiah can hardly dent the Gate's thick armor. The heroes that are adept at killing gates would be Michael, Jehoel , Metatron , Duma , Uriel , and Sandalphon.  

These heroes could potentially kill the Gate without the help of God .

Your Nydus Worm.  This building spawns your mass that you throw at the enemy.  This takes 20 seconds to spawn.  Move your portal closer to the front lines for your troops to arrive faster.

The portal has a small detection radius that can thwart Zadkiel with the sight of additional Grigories.

Spine Crawler building.  These buildings protect your gate to hell but only have a detection radius of 1.   They deal massive damage and should deter anyone except air units from attacking your base. However, if you have the last prime evil early in the game, a rush may come and your protectors would be rendered useless.

Seraphiel is adept at killing these buildings with her range as she can out range the spines by 1.

Creep tumors that can spawn more creep tumors.  These buildings are pivitol in moving your troops forward.  Creep tumors can be spread or created by Grigories.  It has a 15 second cooldown after spreading but can only spread once.  However, the spawned tumor itself can propagate again so that one tumor could potentially fill the entire map with other tumors.
